What data we collect
- Account information: name, username, email address, city, country.
- Content you create: posts, reviews, messages, photos.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address.
How we use your data
- To provide and improve the BroGram service.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. email verification codes).
- To show you relevant content and businesses near your city.
- To ensure platform safety and prevent abuse.
- To power AI-assisted features — the in-dashboard AI assistant, AI-generated quizzes/calculators/profile text, and the "AI manager" auto-reply to a business's clients. For these features, relevant text (messages, profile content, uploaded documents) is sent to a third-party AI model provider for processing.
How we protect your data
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
- All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Third-party services
BroGram uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
- Vercel — deployment and CDN infrastructure
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Supabase — file and media storage
- Anthropic — AI models (Claude) powering the platform's AI features
Your rights

Account suspension and deletion
We reserve the right to suspend, ban, or permanently delete an account that violates our Terms of Service, provides false information, or poses a security risk to other users or the platform — with or without prior notice, as permitted by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of BroGram after changes means you accept the updated policy.
